About daks tabs.
Daks tabs are very much rare in Italy,so i not have experience with them.
Some guys have said to me that don't hold on well as belts (and of course the braces).
You can said at unware Italian your experience with side (or "daks tabs") adjusters?

When I was a child that's what trousers had. I then wore braces round the ages of 15 or so. Then it was back to side adjusters. I got into belts may be 30 years ago. If I didn't have so many damn suits and odd trousers I'd go back to adjusters. In retrospect, it was the best system.

I don't have many now but I've had all kinds of adjusters plus braces. The metal buckles depend on how they are attached to their cloth tabs - some can twist in a crazy way but if well done they are fine.
I have on now a pair of faded pink/red chinos, (plus barefeet and old worn grey polo) with "comfort" waist - elastic hidden at the side - comfy as promised. Its 35C here. 42C tomorrow.

daks adjusters are not really found on RTW these days, as I believe it's expensive to manufacture, daks tabs are brilliant though for casual trousers worn without braces & I believe better than just side adjusters as they pull in material around the waist band more evenly than side adjusters which result in some bunching around your sides.
I would usually go for braces with any tailored clothing, with side adjusters as well, however for casual wear worn without a tailored jacket braces are not going to look right, so I would definitely go for a solution like daks tabs if available.

Tabs are fine for a suit but I prefer a belt for odd trousers. The line is broken by the contrast between jacket and pants anyway, and a belt can help to tie the outfit together if it complements the shoes.
