Anyone heard of these guys? I just got some samples, first I have come across them.
Perhaps you'll find this thread helpful....

Wow, answered all my questions.
They are an old cloth mill. Part of the C&J Antich group who are one of Britain's biggest weavers, if not the biggest.
I have some samples of Glorious Twelfth laying around, but nothing gun club or houndstooth.

^Interesting. I found two looking through the online samples.
Just a knock around jacket I can wear with jeans or trousers. That's why durability is on my mind. I will probably just go with the Alsport Worsted, there is one that's pale with blue over check I am digging on. 7606 I think. Or 7616, I can't remember.
Right, which is why I said gun club or houndstooth!
I started off leaning away from faux tweeds and have pretty much gotten more solid on that as we speak.
There is a Glorious 12th I'm dying to get a jacket in though.
The 12th?
I have it at my office, can't recall off the top of my head.
^Always.
I am partial to Harrisons for many things. Have a great blue jacket in Mystique.
Went Alsport 7606. Kingfisher blue lining. 2 button, 2 vent w/ hacking pockets. Pretty excited on it actually, moreso than I thought I would be for a tweed. Mainly because this thing is going to get heaps of use I think.
Forward fitting done on this. I'm very, very pleased. This one is a home run for me. Did the fitting with some marine blue cotton trousers and chestnut colored chelsea boots, and it was bang on.
I wrestled with picasa mobile site all last night. I'll take a better shot and put it up.
I'm wearing it right now and the fit is sublime.
It does look neat!
I must admit I'm thinking about a gun club tweed and it looks like the only option will be MTM, if not bespoke.
I almost went gun club when I got this, but veered to the houndstooth at the last minute. There is certainly a paucity of gun clubs in off the peg items.
