Jazz is too powerful a democratic, spiritual and creative threat for the Islamists to risk getting it.
No different to what the Taliban was doing in Afghanistan in the late 90's +, and probably many places over many eras. That fucker doesn't deserve jazz.
And if the Islamic god will smite those music appreciators; explain Cat Stevens?
Yes, please explain Cat Stevens, someone. Actually, don't.
Cat Stevens did an amazing funky disco tune back in the day (Was Dog A Doughnut).
I've ignored the rest of his output (except I have Horace Andy doing one of his tunes too).
And I'm sure there have been and are plenty of people filled with hate who are into beautiful music.
Indeed some may be on this very forum.
Hitler being inspired by Wagner is an example.
Cat Stevens is dead, I think even he would agree to that.
That makes the entire sufi tradition and the Master Musicians of Joujouka 'heretics', even tho' their traditions pre-date that jihadi fellas sect by about 600 years.
As ever fundamentalists need the 'fun' removing from their title cos they are all mentalists.
This is interesting in today's newspaper:

QUOTE
The court heard he said that the fight will continue until Sharia law is established in every country.
Khan said there are three types of people - Muslims, non-believers and hypocrites, the jury heard.
Hypocrites are Muslims who do not pray, watch porn and listen to loud music, he is alleged to have said.
END QUOTE
Enough to say, once these supremacists take charge and impose their ideology upon us, there won't be no disco, no jazz or any music at all. Instead of pandering to their ideological needs that will only reinforce their supremacist fantasy, we should be looking to de-program them, and yes, jazz and loud music could well be a part of this.
More banning of music action:

As the region continues to clarify, we should expect more of this, until the mask of sanity is finally removed for all to see.
It truly baffles me, what do these clowns gain (or believe that they might gain) from their punitive, pleasureless regime?
Like I said, the region is starting to clarify:

Where's Kemal Ataturk when you need him?

The cultural relativists want to make us believe that we should accept all sorts of barbarism as "other culture". They place so-called "cultural values" above individual freedom rights. Let's not succumb to this propaganda.
