Nice. "Douglas Crockwell" sounds like a derisive parody of Norman Rockwell. The Winter Wonderland illustration is beautifully composed. The Way We Never Were seldom looked so good.
Lovely.
Very nice. Rather sad too, in comparison to our modern-day multi-cult society. I would say these depictions are more accurate than not. Although, I would take issue with WASPs drinking so much beer, when whisky or gin & tonics would be more appropriate.

Love these.
Are any of you familiar with James Lileks and his website, The Institute of Official Cheer?
He collects Americana ephemera like this (in fact, I think he has some ads from this very campaign)--ads, paperback book covers, postcards, promotional brochures--and writes very witty deconstructions of them, or parody captions. It's really an amazing archive, and funny.

Definitely check out "The Dorcus Collection." Funniest men's fashion thing I have ever seen--and I used to get the International Male catalog.

I've got a zebra rug on my living room floor.
I have quite a few of these dotted around the house:

They are very easy to clean if you spill your beer..
