Ivy shops in Edinburgh...or Scotland in general?
Moving there in two weeks with no definite intent to return to the USA anytime soon. Are there any good Ivy style/Mod (Mod as in old mod, not mod as in touristy Merc-suit mod) shops there? I'm debating whether i should stock up before hand or travel light and try my luck. If i'm ever in London i'm going to J Simons.

Thanks for the tip. Sadly I'll be missing the Fringe this year. I'm sure the Shetlands are lovely, but I can't wear scratchy wool. A trait i seem to have inherited from my father.

The same shops are full of give-away Scottish Cashmere too, so you'll be well provided for!

A quick correction it is 'McAdam' not 'Mcdonald', a slip of the key on my part.
I shall be returning to the store on monday for further investigation, I'll report back in more detail then.
