Hope he won't have a heat stroke.

He's probably got a good couple of hours before the heat penetrates all those layers of flannel. He'll be fine.
No pics included but really, with a prose style like this, are they necessary?
Today I am wearing:
Herring Kendal mid-brown, pebble grain brogues (made by Loake)
English-made navy blue moleskin trousers which my dear Mother re-hemmed for me
Good old English-made HJ Hall dark brown softop socks
White with black and blue Tattersall check M & S shirt
Mid-grey knitted cotton sleeveless jumper (hand me down from Faither - too big for him!)
Olney 'Big Bond oversized, peaked flat cap in their 5017 sage green check pure new wool pattern
Cannot recommend the Olney cap highly enough. I've got a big old bonce and their 7 5/8" or 62cm size is absolute perfection whilst the cap has a good, heavyweight feel to it. Might not sound nice to some folks but it has now taken on the same scent as my Grandad's old Trilbys which I always used to try on as boy. Very reminiscent of the old gent and oft makes me think of him fondly. Gave me some great advice about life which I chose to ignore but now realise he was right and that it was borne of hard fought experience.
Need to get me some country or more informal style waistcoats - the one above is a real cracker!
And when going outside to walk the four legged beastie, I put my English-made but pretty cheap off ebay, brown wax gilet on.
(For those of you who don't speak Celtic:
"bonce" = ass
"scent" = stank
"four legged beastie" = camel)
stank. lol.
Surprised he didn't write 'weskit'.
Locked thread alert! The original porster is currently suspended for not being nice enough and realizing that some other dude was "a very respected member" zzzzzzzz

Hat man is back in the game.
That hat is gigantic. Looks like he's wearing a battleship on his head.
I like hats and wear them fairly often. It took a lot of experimentation to find the style that looks right. The wrong hat is a disaster.
Are we talking about Talk Ivy now?
Hehe
Gary Numan's hat, a few posts above, looks okay and really makes his mascara pop. But this fellow immediately above — no, no, I'm sorry.
Maybe the rule of thumb should be area of the the hat should be no more than 150 percent of the area of the face. Then the boys can fight about how to measure that.
It's good clean fun, keeps their pores open and keeps them off the streets
Numan was sporting hats at that time to mask the fact he was getting hair transplants. Perhaps, gangster-boi is too?
