Cuffs not only are they Ivy but they'll keep your floors clean!
Cuffs on my flannel tailored trousers.
Sometimes cuffs, sometimes not. Never on 5 pockets. Wider strides mostly have cuffs, but it depends. On some cords cuff don't work well... I think the majority on the board that goes cuff-less doesn't like them because they aren't too "Boom Years" - or better, they weren't in fashion in he 60s. And most on here admire the Ivy League Look that was high street fashion in the 60s with very tapered pants, no break and no cuffs. In the end cuffs are very "classic menswear" and therefore an essential detail also for Ivy League. But it really depends on the trousers themselves, too
Cuffs are essential unless the trousers are super tapered 60s style - which is what a lot of people here like. I don't think without cuffs was even an option until the 60s.
I generally prefer 'with'. The slicker suits don't have PTUs, but most dressier khakis and slacks I have do.
5-pockets and casual chinos are always rolled anyway. The curse of the dachshund's legs that is.

A true gentleman always wears cuffed boxers.
One of the most anxiety-inducing subjects in men's fashion. I refuse to opine on the subject.
Hit it Lucretius:
"It is pleasant, when the sea is high and the winds are dashing the waves about, to watch from the shores the struggles of another; not because any man's troubles are a delectable joy, but because to perceive you are free of them yourself is pleasant."
Cuffs on suits and light weight strides; ie. linens, cottons, etc. Khakis, chinos, casuals, wool separates - none.
My pants of all kinds — except jeans — are about evenly split between cuffs and plain hem.
Shall we discuss pleats now?
I often like the look of cuffs. It's just that none of my current trousers feature them, and although they probably have enough extra material (internal cuffs, haha) to be cuffed, the process would just be real tedious. Going forward, I may start experimenting more with cuffs on lighter trousers.
I still don't entertain pleats.
Btw, I do pleats on my suits, plain front odd trousers.
I have a better idea: let's discuss pleats and SUSPENDERS!
Pleats can look fine too, just not for me.
The Kingston Trio were eschewing cuffs by the late '50s. Just something that's always kind of stuck there in my head. Carry on.
