Marc, I have one last question on this subject. Is the quality of Kiton and Borrelli still very good, or has it slipped?
The Neapolitan Shoulder essay reads like it was taken directly from a
textbook, such as the overly stiff and technical language and the diagrams,
in my opinion. A major tailor in Italy who is versed in the Neapolitan
shoulder told me that the spalla camicia is pretty much just a "gimmick"
and so all of the gushing over it is from a group of people who really don't
know very much about tailoring, though they try hard to seem sophisticated.
Very amusing, actually.
