That ain't nuthin'!

My uncle won a replica elephant gun in the local British Legion one Sunday afternoon. On his way home, he drunkenly in jest raised the gun at a passing police car and the next thing he knows all hell breaks loose with an armed response. To top it all, the gun had been stolen in a burglary and donated by the thief to the British Legion!

Terrible clothes to wear to church - even the vicar was badly turned out.

No indication of what state either but they would probably write "London, England".

I see that the originator of the Westboro Baptist Church of "God Hates Fags" fame has been excommunicated from his own church.

"Florid, smug, middle-aged golf club bore in this country I'd say. Propping up the 19th hole in deepest Surrey bemoaning the perils of immigration."

I almost certainly have little in common with the gun guy or the church, but that article is ridiculous. OMG, it's a similar weapon to one used in an infamous killing! Let's post a picture of the guy who slaughtered a bunch of kids! Pretty clear that all of us self-righteous, urbane liberals are supposed to cringe at these crazy bumpkins.

Apparently I go to the wrong church. Well, I don't go to church, but if I did, it would need to be that one.
