Re: Tony Benn...

Excellent piece, especially the similarities between Benn and Blair.

Re: Tony Benn...

The labour party did extinguish itself: first the fires died down under Kinnock. They were reduced to smouldering ashes by Smith and then Blair came along and pissed all over the fireplace and floor.

I came up to see her sometimes.

^ I can't reply at the moment as I'm just off out for a game of bingo and a pint, both much cheaper thanks to that nice Mr Osborne's budget.

Re: Tony Benn...

Very funny that there is an argument that Wedgie-Benn was largely responsible for the 'success' of Thatcherism!!

Re: Tony Benn...

I see there's another sex scandal in the Tory party today. I just don't get it, of all the careers to choose for a rent boy procuring gay chap, being a Tory MP who espouses family values and is against homosexual marriage, doesn''t seem to me an ideal choice. All the lies, deceit and the risk of being ousted and exposed as hypocritical gobshite must weigh on one's sleep patterns in the wee wee hours.
