Looking at getting a bespoke tweed coat made. It will be a darker blue houndstooth and probably peak lapels. My tailor does smashing peak lapels.
Anyone got some pics of nice tweed coats with peaks.
Have no idea what to do about pockets. Anyone got some tasteful ideas? Have 3 weeks before l see him again, so hopefully l can make a decision in that time.
Do you need a tweed coat in Melbourne?
Do you mean a coat, not a jacket?
Tweed and peak lapels does not work for me.
I would go for a notch lapel with tweed personally (just did actually), but if you get a vibrant enough color a peak may work. I tend towards the usually for pockets, two slash pockets and a ticket pocket.
Thanks guys.
Formby: I was hoping you would contribute, and yes, l do think a wild lining would be a good idea. Do you have any pictures you can share so l can get a better idea of the details you talk about?

They are great for shooting as pictured. I find them a bit bulky for just wearing about though.
What happened to the ivy kick Shooey? Already bored? haha
