Best Comedians then and now (clips)

Post your fav movie, sketch, shows and radio clips.

Modern or classic, who was the best, who is the best now?

My current fav is a Boston guy Bill Burr

Spike Milligan. That guy really cracks me up.

Peter Cook. A truly sublime intellect.

Good drama about Tommy Cooper last night.

The best story I heard was when Tommy was at a golf tournament.

He strolled on to the first tee to much amusement. His appearance always ensured that.

Driver in one hand, golf ball in the other.

He threw the ball into the air and swung wildly at it with the club missing by a mile. Roars of laughter.

Then he turned to the the spectators and said " It's a tough course , isn't it ?"

Some great choices here.  I've always been a big fan of Billy Connolly:

Brief rundown of comic actors and standup for me would include the Python crew, Dave Chappelle, Peter Sellers, George Carlin, Louis C.K., Gene Wilder, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase.  I always enjoyed Don Knotts performances on the Andy Griffith show.  Just total devotion to the role of the buffoon.
