Fred Astaire must be turning in his grave!
That guy's look almost makes me want to dig my own grave to crawl into.
^ Give the guy a break. He's only having a laugh. And he's giving us a laugh as well. Look at the people in the pic. He's giving them a laugh.
Laughs all the way around.

Haha. But Keith was always out for laughs. He was a prankster like us, Stan. I'm not sure the same can be said for most of the subjects of the inane thread. I think they really want to be considered seriously. That's what makes it hard to swallow.
Haha. Lucky for me, the era and style I love and dress up for isn't quite as removed from modern dress, so I'm slightly less conspicuous and ridiculous looking. These guys look like shit.
I was rather amused amused by the trash-strewn parking lot where that chap was flaunting his morning dress Easter finery. To give him credit, he looks better than I did the one time I wore morning attire (rented, naturally). At least I passed on the topper.

Every crummy cell phone photo of some dude in an untucked shirt with a navy worsted suit of generally decent fit looks exactly the same to me. There is an art project to be done by collecting and collaging them somehow.
I'm actually rereading Brideshead as we speak.
Waugh was the master of being inane and just eloquent enough to make people read it.
Maybe three, I hopefully still have a few years left.
