It's the one at the top.
Give the man credit where it's due...whatever he made or did not make up, he knows where to find this stuff. I can't even guess how he found this ^
Stetson make some nice straw pork pies. I have one like this, as depicted on the snappily named lyleandscottjumper.blogspot

Those look great - Bailey do similar ones too, also in synthetics (polypro). If me and the pork pie get on I'll be looking for a woven version for hot days. I do find it important that the hat be foldable or rollable.
How much is a bespoke version? And how much do the cats charge to lend it character?

Panamas for me! I have two--a fedora type for dressier occasions and a "plantation" style that I wear when walking the dog.
I own a Stetson straw Trilby that I love... a Kangol tropical cap... one navy coloured cotton flat cap... and now two M&S caps: one that is waterproof (for rain weather in summer) and one SEERSUCKER flat cap. Yeah!

I wore flat caps when I was younger but I don't really think they suit me now. I think they look better on younger wearers. Too golfy and sportscarsy at my age - and no shade for the ears either.
In the last few months I've worn a hat more than ever, now that my remaining hair is down so short. Basically if longer than 5 minutes outdoors whether cold or sunny, I need a hat.
The right hats are turning out to be a bugger to find though. I have a Jill Corbett canvas 'porkpie' - a bucket hat really, and a summery Bailey poly mesh porkpie. Fine hats both but I'd like to add a bit more variety.
Pointier, higher crowns are less my thing. The same goes for wider brims, not a good look for the short of stature. At the moment I'm on the lookout for a dressier porkpie to wear with suits, and a comfy knockaround bucket hat - something like the traditional Brooks fishing hat or a the discontinued Tilley T1 bucket hat.
So right about balding.
Tried baseball caps for a while- not always apt.
Then tried growing hair longer to sweep back over bald spot. I am ashamed to admit…
Maybe time for a real hat, but the pork pie screams hipster in these shores, so open for suggestions.

You have a special dispensation to wear that in Vienna. Very 'The Third Man'!
