Gianni
IsnĀ“t Crompie your PR guy?
I buy ties because I like the patterns.
I'm just odd like that...
Inkjet printed fabrics? I don't like the sound of that!
I have exposed all the lies of this guy on Styleforum as selling continuative collection Garza as the fake advertising he does, vintage is always betterhe says offending real arthisans as me whose grandfa was the boss of a mill 99 years ago.
He sent all his pitti ridiculous dressers as himself a free tie to.insult and manipulate the Truth.
I can't believe this spammer is on this serious forum as well.
And how much do these vintage inkjet ties go for?
So not only are the fabrics ink-jetted, but the price does not include VAT, as it is an operation below the radar of legitimate tax paying business?
I might add, allegedly.
It's like shooting fish in a barrel - so many #menswear enthusiasts desperate to kop their latest grail. If Gianni is selling them old mutton dressed as lamb (or, ironically, something akin to the inverse), and profiteering handsomely from it, let him continue to fleece the rubes. I don't think I'd want to buy from a vendor whose sole contribution to message boards seems to be one-line posts with a random combination of the same words.
I'm generally not fond of people that only join the forum to either sell, or find something.
Something about lazer print ties and then something about a man being propositioned by another man. Looks like I got away easy when I tried to start making ties. This really is the oddest thread we've had in a while
There is speculation over at DressedWell.net that inket printed dye on fabric will have the same utter lack of water-resistance that inkjet paper copiers do.
There is also an opinion poll on the matter, inconclusive thus far.
http://www.dressedwell.net/forum/threads/the-passaggio-cravatte-scandal.814/
The lack of color saturation is the telltale sign, the incomplete dye penetration? The ghost pattern also appears crisper as though it has not been muddled by soaking deeply into the fabric. Am I correct or totally off base?
