Good one.
Peter Andre. The 'reggae' one by him.
^ that'd be 'Mysterious Girl', with the welded on ragga chat over the middle-eight.
You think that's bad, check out (or don't if you value your ears) his current 'swing' album, makes Robbie Williams attempts look classy.
Rod Stewart doing the American songbook is dire too.
Time to turn against all those #+?5&& Christmas songs that litter the last four weeks of the year with sheer terror in every freaking store you enter without being able to escape and the mere thought of them turning me into a crazy freak who hacks endless sentences full of hate on his keyboard.
Yes, about 20 years ago, those US songs where kinda new in Germany, Bing Crosby and all, a sort of "cool" alternative to the kitschy domestic stuff, but the joke is over, friends. You over-played them in stores, radio, everywhere... I would not go so far to also hate Dean Martin's songs at the moment but I am pretty sure the next season also will ruin them for me, too.
Or Wham. "Last Christmas". The fucking consensus song of the fucking MTV generation. Mofo that song and the goddam video.
So, here we go:
Bing Crosby: White Christmas
Wham: Last Christmas
That was therapeutic. I feel better.
Pat Benatar - Love Is a Battlefield
Two slices of complete cheese here today, and both horrible cover tunes.
Billy Idol - Mony Mony

I can't stand it. It just goes on and on.
Lenny Kravitz - American Woman

So weak. Bleh....
Robbie Williams - Angels. I had to mention it a second time, as it may be the worst piece of crap ever recorded. And much loved by many - no wonder the human race is heading to extinction.
Anything by the BeeGees, and I mean anything.
Some early pre-disco Bee Gees stuff sounds almost Hollies-esque, with the great vocal harmonizing. And I have to admit, Staying Alive is a pretty good song.
How Can You Mend a Broken Heart? by Al Green, To Love Somebody by James Carr and the Burritos ... they heard it ... those are good songs ... Holiday, Lonely Days, Words, all very well done ...
Unbeknownst to him, ZarJazz has just walked into a hive of angry Bee Gees lovers.
And another thing about Seger... although I can pretty much agree with the sentiment 100%, I really hate Old Time Rock and Roll. Well, if you hated modern rock that much BOB, why didn't you put out a song that actually sounded like good rock and roll instead of a bloated, hokey sounding, half-assed song that sounds exactly like what you're complaining about???!!! JESUS!
