They are very nicely made, in a different league from the regular Barker line. Soles are beautifully done which probably means nothing to some as no one sees them and they get scratched up right away. Anyway, they are in the EG, John Lobb category construction wise, now whether you like the aesthetic or think they are worth $800 is a different matter.

They seem to be part of the Paul Smith-Boateng-Duchamp youngish-city laddish stuff. Can't speak for the quality but has the sort of marketing gimmickery about them that works on the English in the way that many Americans fall for with Ralph Lauren and...I cant think of the right example.
