Young Ones and B'Stard. A great legacy.
I never particularly cared for The Young Ones, even though I watched it. thought him good as Flashheart but loved him as B'Stard. Didn't really watch his later stuff...
He had that crazy, lunatic look down to a tee...
Just watched that film Trip to Italy. You realize just how wonderful and crazy creative British humour is. Mayall was part of that history.
Bottom was brilliant too. Strong links to the Three Stooges but a more modern ultra violence.
