Funny to see the band Natural Life get a mention, they eventually got dropped by Warner Brothers owing a fortune in advances (estimated at over £1.5 million including publishing) without ever actually releasing an album.
An educated definition of the term house music would include all the killer tunes mentioned in the disco thread btw.
In more recent years, Masters of Work did plenty of heavy tunes that I used to drop over the course of many years (they also did plenty of not so heavy tunes that I didn't used to drop).
