Good Morning Gentlemen ! I am a new fashion designer in the business and i am doing some market research to see what the menswear community thinks about new collar styles. I U.S. patented these collars many years ago and i would like to know if men are willing to wear unique dress shirts collars. Please view my website www.ericglennie. com to view some unique collar designs perhaps you may have never seen before. I shaped dress shirt collars around the necktie knot to show the neckline with a cleaner style by placing the collar points behind the necktie. Thanks gentlemen for your time and hope you enjoy my art. Please let me know what you think or dont think about a new collar style for menswear. Thanks again Eric Glennie. 952-913-8708

The lower collars look, from the picture, like standard tab collars or tennis collars that have been pinned.
My, you're making the rounds:

Hehe... I hadn't been there in months.
Hello Horace! My collars are shaped collars with unique designing around the tie knot. The collar produces a unique look at the neckline so an imperfect knot looks consistent. My focal point at the neckline is the collar , not the tie knot so this is a paradigm shift from generations of necklines. The tie simply adds color and variety. If you are looking at my design #1, the collar point comes together under the tie.
The author I referred to on the AAAC post actually has some advice for this designer. There are markets he's ready for. But, it appears he hasn't been willing to pursue the matter.
Thanks JS Prowls. I just sent Kathleen an email introducing myself. Thanks again for the connection. Have a nice holdiay weekend. EG.

Thanks for your response Film Noir. Most of the innovation in fashion collars for men was back in the early 1900's. My patents all referered back in the 20's and 30's including Van Huesen's patent. There are few new collars since then , so that may be why the fashion community is so taken back by new collars. If fact new collars is very traditional, just not traditional for todays man because most of them werent alive to experience the collars of the 20's and 30's. However, fashion is about art. Unfortunately, todays menswear fashion is about label recognition, logos, and celebrity. Where did the art go? thanks eric glennie.
... Do I get paid for this?
???
