So on uncle Jacks recomendation I got in touch with a friend of mine in America and asked him to get hold of a couple of Brooks Brothers shirts.
he sent me two .
1. white button down collar label BB est. 1818 says original polo shirt (polo?)- traditional fit non iron all cotton- made in malaysia.
2.pink button down collar label says BB 346 all supima cotton- made in malaysia.
he says he got them at a brooks brothers outlet.
Has he made a mistake is this what I should have expected?
I`m sure I heard mention that they were made in the US.
I`ve briefly tried them on and first impressions are that I like- the non iron seems a bit stiffer than the Pink ( something in the manufacturing process that makes it non iron I suppose)
they are a little "blousier" than I am used to - but I don`t think this will be a problem.( kind of hides my- stockyness- which I quite like)
thanks for the heads up Jack - it`s still appreciated wether you are still Uncle Jack or not.
Gosh your chum works quickly!
So quickly send your shirts back to him.
You know how poor Americans are rumored to be in geography. Perhaps somebody thinks Malaysia is a state.
I wouldn't keep the pink one, it's gay you know - LOL
Goodness me, Mike - you are a cunning linguist
It's the Itchy & Scratchy Show!!
Good afternoon Gents -
