Hedy Lamarr

Today is the centenary of the birth of Hedy Lamarr. Last Friday, Vienna honoured her with an official memorial, for her acting and her development of spread spectrum technology.

Re: Hedy Lamarr

Wasn't she the first actress to appear nude in a Hollywood film?

She was amazing.  But like doggie,  I can only think of Carol Burnett. I used to love that show.  I'd  like to get a bunch of episodes.

^ I think that it was very nice when grown-ups behaved like grown-ups. The decline in civility from then to now is as stunning as Miss Lamarr - who looks absolutely scrumptious .

Yes. Out of all of those who are now dust, her image retains the ablity to make one's head swim. It seems from her own mystery appearance on what's my line that she was a warm and friendly woman too:

Re: Hedy Lamarr

She is just one of many beautiful women to have graced the silver screen. And there are no shortage of them today.

Re: Hedy Lamarr

I just lost a whole load of draft checking spellings...Get back on it later if the hijackers don't ruin the party... Honestly, why can't people just behave like grown-ups? Eh? Eh?

Meanwhile - Salma Hayek - yessiree.

I can't realy remember the 1980s except that I had my grubby little paws where they were very happy to be on some real flesh.
Otherwise  now - start with

Catherine Zeta Jones
Catherine McCormack
Justine Waddell
Scarlett Johansson

Anyone any good at posting some images?
