You may be right, but not in my case, I am interested in the trappings of success, but not at the expense of fame. A select audience is far more rewarding.

So...is the general view of the cognoscenti around this joint that I should go back, under cover, to continue to produce the kind of entertainment, which is perceived to be at my own expense, in my own time and in my own way - or become Mr Regular Nice Guy; producing non-award-winning posts, which happen to comprise jest a leetle beet of original thinking? I.e. should I lie down and take it or should I arise, phoenix-like, and do battle with the Zeitgeist?
