I hope there are some pleasing designs to come from this, but that goddamn show pictured is heinous.
I do think there will be some good designs to come from this really though.

If the "last" in question is referring to the silhouette of the last, then yes, there are more contemporary lasts, e.g., G&G TG73, JL 7000, EG 888, etc. They are distinctively different than the more "classic" lasts such as EG 202.

I noticed that Lobb's have returned to the Hague, but this time they've done away with the dainty ones that looked like what a highway man would have worn in the 1740's. A good move, they look great, albeit at over a thousand Euros a pair.
