Harvard 31-Yale 24. furious comeback by Yale, Harvard just squeaked by at home, game went down to the wire and though the Old Blue was narrowly defeated this edition of The Game was a classic by everybody's estimation. All the kids on the field and in the stands looked like they had a great time and that's what it's all about.

It was a pretty good game to watch I gotta say. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality on the field. I
now onto Miami at Virginia .....

The U!
Bama herp derped their way through a mediocre game. Need to shape up for Iron Bowl.
Damn Auburn gettin beat by Samford 7-0 in the second quarter! Wat!?
Ah, bummer stans!
thanks Doggy
feeling better by now and realizing that the number-one college football town in the country this year, with two schools that went 10-0, is ...
... Cambridge, Massachusetts!

UGA - Georgia Tech one of the silliest games I have seen this year.
Sorry I got to this late. Harvard has put a serious effort into their athletics and its beginning to show.
Yale is still deathly afraid of anything manly as feminism runs riot at all levels of the administration. Yale has only beaten Harvard once (2006) since 2001. I don't even like to go anymore, and even Crew is a disappointment, same story, Yale beat Harvard only once since 2000.
My son still drinks the Kool-aid insisting "No matter, Yale has better tailgates"
Iron Bowl!!!
Epic. Bama just big boyed Aubbie there in the second half.
How good is Amari Cooper?! Holy Moly.
you got to it first Dogs, which is fitting, but yeah, Amari is a monster, looking forward to seeing him play in the NFL ... wonder where he'll go?
that was an entertaining game though ....
it's been a crazy season but business as usual for unbeaten Florida State and NFL-caliber Alabama ....
notable this year: memorable and unprecedented Mississippi football from Ole Miss and Miss State
games of the year include Alabama-Ole Miss, Alabama-LSU, Alabama-Mississippi State, and Alabama-Auburn
Alabama has become America's team this year, I think .....
the U of Miami's loss to Pitt last night was its third in a row.
6-6 on the year is as the Herald says a "dismal downer."
so ... the post-season letdown, when your team finishes an up-and-down season that might have been great on a losing streak with questions, 6-6, cup half-empty or half-full? .....
we need to switch to pro football now for a few weeks
watching Packers-Patriots now, liking it a LOT
ailing Jets just what the Dolphins need Monday night ......

I was looking at some old football footage from the 1960s today, and I thought about what it would be like if you took some of those players and stuck them in a modern pro football game today. They'd get murdered!!!
Dolphins struggled a bit against the Jets but it was great to escape from New York with a win .....
Notre Dame has been on my blacklist since their fans called Jimmy Johnson "Pork-Faced Satan" when he was still the coach here ....
plus I know a group of lunkheads from South Bend .... but I still respect Dave Casper .....
I was there the day we crushed them 58-7 at the Orange Bowl ..... delirious ....

Coaching carusel has been cray cray last two days.
McElwain to UF.
And Mike Riley to Nebraska!?! Left field. Solid hire for them though.
Probably the biggest upset this year was Kent State beating Army 39-17.
Last time these teams met, Army won 4-0.
Too soon?
