Wow, were have I been!   Genuinely unfortunate loss.

He was my favourite tie designer by far. I must have over 80 early duchamp and Penrose.  Several years ago I had began to feel that Duchamp had lost their wow, and that's when i found out that he had sold the company. Later when I  saw the first Penrose it was love at first site, this with out knowing Jacob was responsible. But Penrose had the same beauty that the early Duchamp's had. Noone else dared the same profuse use of deep purples, fuchsias, blues etc combined with gold. The contrast was breath taking yet harmonious.

He will be missed.
