Rose gold watches / cufflinks - timeless classic or fashion trend?

What is your view on RG watches and cufflinks?

I could be tempted by the right rose gold watch, but the spanner in the works is always the cost. They're always at a premium.

Never taken to cuff-links, all that chunky bashing over the keyboard as you type. I remember they came very much into vogue back in the late 90s and there was a certain football commentator look with cut-away collars with no ties and cufflinks that is imprinted on my brain, as the way not to do it.

^ Agreed. Cufflinks are the antithesis of the non fussy low key look I seek, the only time I would consider wearing them would be with a dinner suit. As for rose gold, it's just a different shade of the metal, it's not my bag but if you like it why not?

Not keen on coloured metals.

If you like them though, you should get them. Who cares whether or not they're fashionable.
