It's a pity so many of these master craftsmen are getting so long in the tooth. What's going to happen as folks get richer and have no luxury bespoke menswear to serve their high desires. All this custom/bespoke stuff is really starting to catch on again due to fashion brands advertising handmade custom more, but who do you go to when all these blokes retire? Not many teach the old skills to young blokes anymore, and there are even fewer master craftsmen who can do the highest level work.
Well, at least we can say we have had the benefit of top craftsmen, but will our children or grand kids be able to say such things. I can see a day where people will tell old stories about men/women who made wonderful things with their hands, and it will almost be impossible to believe humans did such work because these stories will be told in a modern world where machines do everything, and blue collar jobs and handwork is unknown in the shoo/clothing industry.
