Hmm, I'm not so sure, looks too much like a Madchester indie music fan from the late 80s and early 90s, albeit with a more healthy complexion.
The weird thing with that is I was listening to 808 state whilst drawing this and ive been watching a lot of vids to do with Factory records so maybe it did in fact slip through!

I think for Heps reason of dislike - I like, it's a little scally but it's also Take Ivy, and for me growing up in the north, Leeds and Manchester were the best places to shop.
I was a regular at the famous Factory club and a few others - in fact the denim is way too short for manchester and way too tapered!
LOL Madchester in the fooorrking area !
You northern monkeys !
I'm a hardy northerner myself, but from the micro-climate pastoral idyll of Wirral, the posh part.
Whilst you maddies from Manchester we're tripping out at Yo' Tony's hacienda place, I was digging OMD. See it's a different vision and style of teenage rebellion.
Good work man! Looks great. Are you familiar with the work of Lord Dunsby?
HA! Very flattered Zar. And I really love the illustration. I think I'll really "camp" it up in my next few posts in order to lend credence to Bop's snide comment. Just y'all wait.
Damn! Very cool.
Great illustrations!
