I am a routine man very much like your order but i shave and brush my teeth first at the sink (every morning).

My peculiarity is as soon as i finish cleaning my teeth, i take a big swig of mouth wash and do not
spit it out until i am back at the sink and my shower is finished.I usually shower for about 8 minutes

is this OCD enough for you ?

I adopt 'ships routine', by getting wet then turning the water off while I soap up and wash, I turn the water back on to rinse off. Saves water and you use less body wash, or Brut 'soap on a rope', or whatever it is you do use. Top down rinsing makes sense.

The common mistake that men make, which a couple of you have referenced, is to shave before showering. Guys do this as showering afterwards helps stop the bleeding from all the cuts they have inflicted on themselves. If you shower first your skin will be softer and the bristles will be raised, therefore you get a closer shave and will not cut yourself anywhere near as much. You will also get a better shave post shower if you are one who prefers an electric razor.

Shower first, shave second.... try it.

For special occasions I steam my face (hold it over a bowl of boiled water for 5 minutes with towel surrounding it) prior to shaving. Even better than shaving after a shower (which I would also recommend).
