Re: If the Mens' Clothing Fora were Cars, what would they be?

I am defending J because he is my friend, and he doesn't read this forum. Badmouthing people without giving them the chance to respond is sort of a dick move if you ask me. Pretty much anything said negatively about the members of FNB.com on SF or elsewhere will likely be relayed at the speed of light back here (probably to inane thread of the day) - but you guys HAVE to realize by now that the opposite isn't true. Very little of the trash you talk about people behind their backs gets out of here. Mostly because neither I, Get Smart, Twin Six, Vaclav, or anyone else who also regularly logs into and participates at SF are the fun police. We aren't here lurking to catch anything easily mocked to relay back to our buddies on the other board for a petty laugh.

You are all entitled to your opinions of course, but when your opinions are based on inaccurate information and talk trash about my personal friends - I won't just sit here and not say anything.

And to the best of our knowledge, we over at SF never made any official claims that we didn't talk trash on occasion, but I distinctly remember FNB doing so. It does happen on occasion, but as I previously pointed out - it's all over this board in a matter of hours, if not minutes, and you, or more likely FNB comes out to defend his board. The problem is, that It's much worse here than at SF and I think it always has been. If J had to come over to defend every libelous, vicious, or inaccurate statement made about his personal life, forum, or forum members, he'd likely never be able to leave.

Again, this is just my opinion, and you can disagree, or ignore it as  you see fit, I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade. I'm just calling em like I see em.

Oh, and I make no claims for AAAC. I have only even seen the page half a dozen times in my life, and I've never found anything there to hold my interest longer than about seven seconds.

Tokyo Slim,

I dont think I ever said anything like that. I don't want to qualify it but it sounds like you've remembered a fragment of what I said and out of context.  Frankly, i think J can survive that comment made about him. I never thought of J as fitting that remark.

Last time I defended my board on SF it was because I needed to set some baddies straight about some legal fallacy they thought they were painting me into. I really shouldve let them hang themselves. Some of you can't seem to get your modifiers straight, here and at SF.

When LAGuy says my suits are ugly it doesn't make it so; I am not even sure I understand the context. Certainly the AAAC and the LL mods aren't in a position to be dictating tastes for my circle any more than I should dictate for the one they swirl around in. I give a lot of people the benefit of the doubt anyway.

I am locking this thread because it doesn't amuse me much.
