I can go for those Duchamps .
Interesting velvet FNB, I need to get my hands on it to really get a sense of velvet usually.
Harrisons doesnt advertise it but they carry several colours, navy, black, camel, light blue, brown, green etc...
I like those shirts.
My tailor soaks every fabric except cashmere in cold water for 24 hours. Im hard pressed to believe water is going to do more damage. I have no choice, where this jacket is going there will be plenty of spilled drinks.
I might actually wear a bow tie with my paisley shirt.
Next time I go to NYC I want to invite you to the Yale Club for drinks dressed like that.
Very fancy FNB. Not many men could pull that off, so lots of confident attitude would be needed. You would have to be the man of the night to do that coat, no wall-flower nerds need apply sir.
FNB, those Paisleys are too subdued for a velvet jacket. You need to amp it up a bit with some colour in the Paisley. Go hard or go home.
That bottom white barely visible Paisley is the ducks nuts though for wearing with a plain conservative suit. I'd love it.
Anyone remember Adam Ant ant the Ants?
What-ho! What-ho! What-ho!
I think that the shirt really makes this by introducing a note of sophisticated restraint.

What sort of buttons did you put on this FNB? Velvet faced?
Very cool. Like the way the fabric looks in that lighting.
I'm torn on putting smoked grey pearl on a jacket that I have self faced buttons.
Yeah, I haven't always had the best success myself, but lately I have been pretty happy with my selection.
I'll probably stick with the self faced buttons. I initially asked for the grey MOP, but the jacket is a button one that I wanted for cocktail parties and the like, and I thought the evening connotation lent to self facing and reversed course on my button choice.
I like it. Maybe I’m to the point where I’m just saying fuck the ol' bloo blazer and white button-down. But why not? Have fun. Esp. tailored fun.
