I must admit, l am a big Cleverley fan. I see the Edward Green and l see a nice shoe, but they aren't breathtaking, but the lasts are correct and decent and the shoe is overall done very very nicely.
I see the John Lobb and l see a very nice 7000 last which makes it a class above the E.Gs.
But then l see the Anthony Cleverley shoos and l am simply stunned because they always take my breath away when seeing them on someone's feet. Nothing touches them in class and style, they knock everything else out of the ball park. Teemu told me that Cleverley took 3 years to get the lasts and styles right, and it shows because there are no shoos even close to the class of the Anthony Cleverley....the oooze style and they look bespoke from 8 feet away, and they make feet look AMAZING!!!!! But one have an elegant foot to be able to wear them.
Never has a rtw shoo looked so perfect on a foot. Nothing gets close to Anthony Cleverley. Are they worth the price? You bet your boots they are, solely for the style and how they look on your feet. The leather is good too. They are not hand welted, but so be it, the style is too good to pass up.
