Great stuff. I always use Saphir's Renovateur, and a deer bone beforehand if necessary. According to the site where I first learned about the stuff, the coloured Cordovan cream will keep the shoes from getting a normal patina, so I use it less often. Any truth in that?

Incidentally I know of a local shop that only deals in Cordovan and loudly markets them as the shoe that never needs caring. Someone is letting himself in for a bad surprise...

Btw what are those shoes? Vass handmade like it says on the shoe trees?

Agreed but the secrete is to use a tiny amount of cream and a big amount of brushing
