I know it`s not about clothes but it is quite intresting?
and in theory there is a tenuous link- who after all doesn`t dress for dinner.
this evening I have dined on some lovely black Pudding- big pieces of fat embeded within - mashed potato and red cabbage.
for dessert I had two mince pies with some creme fraiche.( yep the mince pies are in the bakers allready- it`s getting to that time of year again)
What have you had for your evening meal?

Lambs brains broiled in milk with a side plate of chips. l generally eat brains once or twice a week.
good for the digestion I expect.
I haven't eaten it yet (It is five past six), but I shall eat Whitebait with good brown bread and butter again soon with a little half bot. of a nice white.
That will be enough for me.
This is the fish from Brixham.
Sometimes I 'Top & Tail' 'em as I was taught as a lad. Other times I eat them like Guy Crouchback's uncle in Waugh's Sword of Honour (Honor) books...
Ditto apples - Sometimes regular style, sometimes Uncle Peregrine style.
Now there was a Fogey - Good old Uncle P.!

Recruiting event for kids we're trying to drag into the firm, so we went to a fun, semi-upscale thai place in town:
-Seared ahi rolls
-Shrimp, beef, and chicken satay
-Shrimp curry
-Steak and rice with peanuts
-Miso salmon
-Flat noodles with chicken
-Bon bons
-Beignets
-Molten chocolate cakes with ice cream
-Fruit sushi
I'm stuffed.

Cobblers?
We had eye-talian last night, a little pasta pesto with a nice fruity white, sea scallops sauteed in a little garlick and butter on the side.
some what- premature but I have just been informed by Mrs. Monkey ( I do wish she wouldn`t creep up on me like that) -we shall be dining on Grouse braised in bacon fat with roasted winter vegetables.
The grouse- we got the other day when we stopped in at cartmel from cartmel valley game supplies and smokehouse.
Mrs.Monkeys- a funny onion you know- If I shot the grouse she would not eat it but if it`s shop bought no problem.
she can barely bring herself to eat or bake with the eggs laid by our own chickens.
Tonight I'll be batchin it, probably just a tuna salad sandwich and cole slaw, washed down with beer.
nothing wrong with that-Michael- some nights when Mrs. Monkey is at her yoga class in the village hall- I will have a large pork pie with a big dollop of-HP sauce.
I also like mushy peas with pork pie particually with a liberal helping of Hendersons relish.
Mystic Frozen Pizza and some ice tea from mix.
