can anyone mention cloth manufacturers that offer lightweight and colorful fabrics. i've read that italian cloth manufacturers do color well. i only know of zegna and loro piana. any others i should look at? what about english cloth manufacturers that offer what i am looking for?
hi fnb. thanks for the reply.
i'm thinking of getting very bright colors such as cream, powder blue, or tan. i'm not settled on the fabric yet but i really like linen in perhaps an 8-10oz. i live in SE Asia so no winters for me. i also run my own business so no office dress for me either. i'm planning to wear these on weekends at the country club and maybe sometimes on weekdays.
i also know little about fabrics. are there other suggestions i should be looking at? i've read that gabardine and mohair wool are also summer suitings but i haven't encountered any so far. i shall look at barbera and harrisons in the meantime.
..message lost..

There's a Dormueil summer weight jacketing book (cards, actually) that has some very nicely colored cloths ( bright) there's one in a pale yellow with a fine sky blue double check that was particularly attractive. Sorry, but i can't remember the name of the bunch but it was probably some Supers book as they usually put those samples on cards.
I have a P&H summer sportcoat that turned out very nice so I'll second Porter and Harding.
