I was wondering why you were bumping this, until I saw Cilla Black died.
Its like losing an Auntie isn't it?
People always look at me gone out when I say I like Cilla's stuff, hell of an output in the 60s. That, Step Inside Love has really powerful strings in.
Her version of Yo Yo is as good as it gets. I've DJed with it a northern nights on and off for 20 years. Blows those soulies away when they ask who it is...its our Cilla.

^ I suspect that Cilla was just pleased to have a career at all for such a long period.
It is a pity though that she is so strongly associated with the latter day drivel (Surprise Surprise! Who gives a f*** about some dimwit meeting his long lost brother from Australia? etc etc) and less with the quality output which originally propelled her to stardom.
