Spotted Matt Lauer checking out the Bruno Cucinelli section at Bergdorf Goodman and saw actor/comedian Richard Belzer at the Charvet shop at BG.
The only sighting I've ever had of a sartorial celebrity: If Wolfe counts, I saw him last year at the Trinity-Princeton squash match at Trinity. His son plays for the team. He was in full rig as usual.
No lie: Kanye West at the Ralph Lauren store on Michigan Avenue here in Chicago shopping like everything was free. The salesguy had a visible woodie. It was glorious.
my only Celebrity sartorial sightings:
Christopher Walken in Macy's Men Store at Beverly Center
Elisha Cuthbert (looking hot hot hot) at Barneys NY
Bruce Springsteen at Barneys NY
David Schwimmer at Fred Segal
Jessica Biel at Anthropology in Santa Monica
very very minor tv personality, Mike "Boogie" from Big Brother (won the allstar edition) at Paul Smith

Bruuuuce! not the most sartorially enlightened person in music. I did like the way he looked in the early 70s, floppy hat and chucks.
I worked in Westport for four years. I kept hoping I would see Rodney Dangerfield, who reputedly lived there at the time. I never did. Damn.
More film sighting than celeb. -- but I really liked the clothing in the Michael Clayton flick. Great minimalist stuff, for the most part. Though I didn't care so much for the black/silver repp tie that he sported. But hey, if you're Clooney you look good in anything.
