Thank you! The kids may not know this, but the setting for the now legendary movie "Animal House" (It didn't get great reviews when it came out, like a lot of the classics) was Dartmouth, I think early fall of 1963. The fashions were classic then. they are classic now.
I do like that trench in the first picture.
The Porsche 356 and MG are nice touches in that Motor Sport Club picture.

i notice there aren't many bowties! i suppose those on the Tard forum need to do a little more reading of their history eh?
The photograph of the English faculty is remarkable. I wonder what it is that some of those frosty old gentlemen are looking at to their left.
VERY 'Take Ivy'!!
There must be a wealth of this stuff out there which nobody is bothering to look at...
Another project for 'Phase 2' of Trad!!
awesome!
That top photo is the dogs bollocks....love the juxtapostion of the 2 sets of walkers going opposite ways, and even the two coming towards us, there's a nice contrast in the casual fellow with his cuffed jeans and varsity letterman jacket, and the trenchcoat/trousers/leathershoe fellow. That would make a really cool poster
The motorclub photo is also great. The shawl collar car club jacket the guy on far right is sportin is great, and I like the fur collar bomber jacket on guy towards left. another great poster image
Cool as Fuck, eh GS?

My Dear Sirs,
Does anyone have any figures as to the ratio of Trads to Ivy League Attendance?
I remain, Sirs,

Theodore Ebeneezer Alphonsus St Bonar, Esquire.
