I am officially never buying another sport coat again as long as I live... unless it's a really killer 1950's bleeding madras or Worried Man tires of that yellow/green number he bought from Zach! With that, I dutifully retire from this thread and kindly ask that anyone who comes across any 3/2 corduroys in ~ size 38 (roughly 17-17.5" shoulders) please send me a private message, as it's the last vestige of uncharted territory in my wardrobe and a niche I am eagerly looking to fill. It would be greatly appreciated, in exchange for the many late nights of service and the thousands of rejected numbers I've cast aside in my obsessive compulsive hours of eBay shopping, contributing to this thread. Any proper full-cut cord sacks, suits or otherwise - send 'em my way, fellas. Thanks in advance!

Not to cast doubt, Ollie, but I think you'll pick the habit up again soon enough.
It'd have to be something REALLY special!
Yeah...pull the other one Oli... its got bells on.
This is too good not to share:

Also an interesting Brooks (Uni Shop if memory serves) cord sack with elbow patches and another 3/2 cord Gant for Strawbridge, albeit twin vented.
WM might be able to squeeze into these -

Anyone familiar with the cut and fit of this contempo cord sack suit from BB?

Yeah looks like late 70s or early 80s...
Absolute holy grail shawl collar cardigan size 46. Message me for details....
I have this identical Trimingham's shirt and it's great... paper-thin lightweight genuine bleeding madras cloth.

Btw there's some hot stuff from O'Connell's on eBay right now, including a great pair of olive moleskins for $15 with a $25 BIN, a couple of Southwick sacks, shetlands, etc. I just paid $44 for a brand new pair of plain-front cotton twill chinos in oyster. Don't miss the moleskins, I have a couple of pairs myself and they're great! If I didn't already own one a pair in olive (I think mine are actually ivy green but close enough) I'd add them to my cart. They retail for over $200.
And a Mercer oxford button down in pale yellow, 15.5-36

I thought I knew who this was, but location is wrong - it's times like this I wish I was bigger! ha. Belting items
Hi- yeah that's me - pm me if you want the low-down on anything
I don't put "Ivy League" on there as fleabay have some personal beef with my descriptions and took the lot down last time
Yes the cord is a nice one.
The seersucker is very clean too.
The green Sero shirt is really nice too if anyone's a 16.5/33 - I really like that - I took that one to the tailor to see if there was any possibility of making the sleeves longer but there wasn't (I contemplated converting it to a short sleeve too but decided against it in the end as I don't really wear short sleeves in OCBD style shirts)
It's a blend but it's got a nice roll on it and wears really nicely - just an inch too short on the old sleeves for me.
Woo!
