Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

I have just put up a promotional post on H&J at my blog:

http://www.squareendknittedtie.tumblr.com

The blog may have other posts of interest around Ivy style, midcentury modern, early Mod, soul music and revivals of classic Ivy related ones from others too.

I welcome contact on topics, pictures and links to include.

Thanks.

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

My jacket came in yesterday... Quite pleased with the fit and the silhouette. Looking forward to wearing it soon. Will share some photos. Also happy to provide details to anyone interested in the jackets but, like me, couldn't check them out in person beforehand.

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

I've been trying to find a triple patch pocket jacket with long enough sleeves forever - this may finally be the one. That 38 sizing seems just about perfect. Marked down for when I actually have some money to spend on a jacket. Are the jackets offered in spring/summer fabrics as well? Guess I'll be looking through this thread some later tonight.

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

Is 48 a typo...I thought you only went up to 46?

No Bop, we had one jacket made up in a 48 to test the water.

Very very nice indeed Chris.

Best be quick with your purchase fellas, I can't see these hanging up at H&JHQ for too long....

I got in early ( at the fabric swatch stage) for the grey mid-weight plaid big_smile

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

Just again, wanted to put my support in for this venture. I really do think this is the best option for anyone who wants a new sportscoat, although the sizing in best for those who are taller side.

In terms of the suits, I think these could be great, but an 11" rise on a 34" waist would be too low for most on here. I personally would like to see a dark olive, a navy or a light grey?
