the peak lapel sports jacket is one of my favorite wardrobe staples. I have a one button red/gray/black plaid and one midnite blue/black windowpane that get much wear. Very versatile item that goes equally well with coordinated odd trouser or a dark slim jean. I'm more partial to flap pockets over patch pockets myself.
That is a nice jacket. What sort of fabric did you use for that?
Also, are those pants flannel and do you like colors for pants other than grey? Obviously, but I want to see if you bend that rule generally or just for the occasional jacket.
Did anyone watch the BBC world tonight? In one piece of the news Prince Charles just wore the same peak lapel single breasted sport jacket, with a pair of cream pants.
So FNB, may I ask where you got your idea from?
Very nice. Who made the jacket?
The Peak I like it these days if done well.
All my jackets, both suits and sports-coats are one button Peak lapels and have been for quite some time and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future.
Chalkstripe suits look particularly good with Peak Lapels.
If you like DB's, but couldn't live with being 'fastened' up all day a Peak Lapel makes a good alternative.
Ignore the idiots who say they are 'fashion forward'.
