^ Ahhhhhhh! That Langrock sport coat is about and inch too big for me in the chest. The search continues for Langrock sport coat goodness. And whoever picks up that sport coat and sweater vest could drape them on this vintage Langrock hanger.

You could lose that inch with an easy alteration.

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

^ Is the chest an easy alteration? Maybe I'll for the hell of it. I've got Press. I've got Brooks. I've got Southwick. I've got Norman Hilton. But I've got no Langrock. I need Langrock!

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

Chest is the easiest alteration you can do on a jacket. Just requires some centering; ie. pull it in .5" from the sides or back seam. If the shoulders, sleeves and length work out, I wouldn't even worry about the chest as it's pretty insignificant. You're talking about basic alterations that people would've probably done in-house with a brand new off the rack purchase from the Langrock campus shop.

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

Usually it'd just be taken in from the center seam at the upper back, which is as simple as it sounds. It's not too pricey either.

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

That's great. Might as well bid on it. I'm sure I can flip it if it doesn't work out. Worth the risk for Langrock in my book.

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

I've had plenty of jackets taken in or out through the chest.  I've never encountered a problem.

O'Connell's tagged size 42 green melange shetland. Seller has it listed at 89.99, but is accepting offers. I bet someone could get it for ~$70. Not bad considering it looks basically NWOT.

Is anyone else getting bombarded by annoying intrusive audio ads from Sears that play automatically in your browser when browsing eBay lately???

Really wish I could afford these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Florsheim-Imperial-Kenmoor-Long-Wings-Cigar-Shell-Cordovan-Mens-8-5-D-/161935187473?

It probably would've been a more practical splurge than those longwing spectators I bought the other day...
