Ok are you happy now? Me on crutches? Eventually applying for a disabled person parking permit?
I have scrought the Scrotchghrain Itch!!!
C&J, full brogues, double leather sole, tan scrotrchgrhain, made for "Alt Wien" with a typical high toe-cap
Good
Although....I would have preferred a darker colour
I've found you can darken colour if you use a cream. Seems to have stayed darker on a pair I have. After using the cream a couple of times I now just use a polish. Of course you might want to try it on an old pair first but it worked for me Beester.

In general, the last is not very elegant, compared to 337 and 363
Correct, but that's also true for every Alt Wien shoes I've ever seen. For me grained leathers need a rather blobby last, otherweise you're better off with a hatch or pin grain leather, which I find better suited to elegant lasts.
They are boring already.
fritzl what is the shape/style called that is so typical for viennese s-grain shoes? Norwegians??
Are you Austrian? Do you look like the characters in Manfred Deix's cartoons? Do you have a goitre? Is your name Gerhard?
Love it
but I now HATE my tan C&J sctotchgrains
I think the problem is the tan itself. It lacks the rich antique patina you get with deeper and darker browns.
Indeed! Tan shoes = works of the devil! I am not Donald Duck!
