Re: Recent Old Ivy Finds

Are those covered buttons?

Given serious consideration to getting a Magee topcoat, even if I have to pay full price since a Topcoat is the one major thing missing from my wardrobe?

Re: Recent Old Ivy Finds

Tommy, they're not covered buttons (of which I've never really been a fan). I'd try and dig something out second hand, if possible (I rarely buy new stuff these days due to the cost).

Colin, love that coat.  Acton, nice shoes and I'll probably go buy that MCM book now.

Re: Recent Old Ivy Finds

^ it was a conversation with T on another thread about BeyondRetro's laxity in sizing and dating that got me digging on the site,
Sized as UK7 but the measurements didn't quite match, but they did match a black pair of British Walkers I have in a US 7E which fit like a glove so took the plunge.

A little bit of care and attention with some Saphire shoe products and they'll be my front line lace-ups for spring big_smile

Re: Recent Old Ivy Finds

Are you talking about the Ivy Hall shirt?

I'm not married to that one actually... I'll see how I feel when it turns up and I'll give you first dibs if I'm feeling generous.
