I just want to say in terms of comfort Ive done a good couple of days wearing the pegasus 83s, trekking around London and such and I have to say the comparison between their level of comfort and the free 5.0 is lightyears behind. Like going from a luxury car like say a Lexus into an H-reg Rover Metro.

Im not sure I can really describe how comfortable these free 5.0s are..no annoying padding rubbing..or tongue folding or any internal seams digging in. I love the retro styling of the pegasus but my feet cant take the abuse

Stan Id really recommend giving them a go..or really anything from their new running range..the technology is incredible

In my present frame of mind I wouldn't touch any of these sneakers with either of Bop's two 10-foot legs.  I don't really do sporty anymore.  I've become way too maladjusted to wear sneakers like these.  I do have some PF Flyers.  I run in some Bew Nalance.  I used to wear the shit outta some sneakers though.

re "late to the game," I am personally desolated because the Incontinence pants Hamburg Tech with gumsole I wanted sold out while I was waffling and then when I saw my size was no longer available from Incontinence pants I scrambled to find them elsewhere but that ship has sailed ........

I looked hard for the Reebok gumsoles in that white/green after you recommended them to me but they were gone, that was two months ago already, and they haven't reappeared, but I am liking the ACT 600 85 '80s retro tennis shoe and the Classic Nylon and Classic Nylon P, check them, what do you think?

Boppler Effect, I looked for N!ke Free 5.0 yesterday but didn't see any wearable colors, i.e., plain navy blue, but will keep looking, I wouldn't mind some extremely comfortable sneaks
