The Courage best adverts with the professional cockneys. I can remember when Courage best was still brewed by Courage and was a fine pint from the hand pump. East End pubs now are often full of hipsters. No more cockneys and Muslims don't drink.

Can any adverts from the UK match good, old fashioned, crass American beer commercials?

"Where's the beef?" became a political campaign line for Walter Mondale in 1984.
He beat Gary Hart in the Democratic primaries. "Where's the beef?" was aimed at Hart.
Mondale subsequently got squashed by Ronald Reagan in the general election.
In 2016, someone saying "Where's the beef?" would be heralded as a return to a mythical Golden Age of politics.

The culturally insensitive Texan bar commercial....

Rushdie also came up with "Naughty, but nice!"
The Texan bars were great, lasted forever and justified the "sure is a mighty chew." Sadly, I think I was the only one who liked them.
^ the Texan bar is much missed treat 4F.
