SIC Tess fabric question.

This appeared as a question under my essay entitled: http://www.filmnoirbuff.com/article/is-paris-burning

"I was wondering if you had a contact number for ordering from S.I.C. tess, preferably english speaking! Thanks so much!"

If anyone here has some information for this poster, I am sure he would appreciate it.

Re: SIC Tess fabric question.

Is the poster looking for retail or wholesale sources?

Re: SIC Tess fabric question.

It doesn't - at least, not directly. I have to employ a purchasing agent to bring it in. He collects orders from many accounts, consolidates them and submits them. Roll-down into smaller lengths is not always available from the mill side of the relationship.

SIC Tess was acquired by Tessitura Monti, with whom I have a manufacturer's account. From a wholesale perspective, Tessitura Monti requires a minimum order of 30-60 meteres, depending on the particular collection being ordered. They haven't yet published how they will handle the SIC Tess acquisition.

If you have this poster's email address, please have him contact me. I'll interview him and put him in touch with the appropriate referrals.
