I think Yucas find is a beauty and would happily add it to my collection.
However, i have a bone of contention and discussion.
Is that a classic Uni/Candy stripe ? I have one very similar in a red stripe and I would describe it as a Butchers stripe in Oxford.
The stripes are much thicker than a classic makers uni stripe.

Looks like Bengal stripe to me. More white space than pink. I think butcher would be a thicker pink stripe.

When I made that post a voice at the back of my head was saying something was off, but I ignored it due to my wanting to cook. I only own candy and butcher stripes (2 of the former and 3 of the latter) and this is somewhere between the 2. So I assume that would make it my first Bengal stripe - which is equally fine by me. The candy stripe would I suppose be my choice, but a change is as good as a rest.
If the pink candy stripe urge ever overwhelms me then the Mercer option is always there, but really the above is unbeatable.

I must admit I've never seen any Bengalis wearing shirts like that.
I've also worn a butcher's stripe in a butchers, which was a bit weird.

So what's Bengal? Wider stripes than candy/uni with the same width of white, or wider white? My "Bengal" stripe from Mercer looks pretty much exactly like Yuca's new pinky, in terms of stripe width and spacing.

Mind you, seller also mentions it's got a Talon zipper. Unless LVC is sourcing old hardware for limited issue repros, that should give it away, right? I'm surprised at how cheap I got this, if so.

Even so, it was still a bargain. I just hope it's blousy and not the typical modern slim cut. Looking forward to wearing this with a navy ball cap, white tee, vintage WWII chinos, and '50s canvas Main Decks.

Dom, check the link I added above. Both jackets look identical to my eyes, in which case, LVC did a pretty good job... I'll have to wait and see how it fits.

That's the point - the LVC has a different collar and is not as blousy - which is what I personally would prefer 
But the vintage item is interesting. I am pretty sure it is an early 1950s jacket.

Thats original Oli, nothing like the LVC one, nice ad find Leer. The banding on the collar and the squared off area where it connects to the body is exactly the same as the illustration Also, Levis Casuals was one of their early lines, along with the Sportswear line.
If you find all those sandwiches have made it a bit tight on yu send it my way

Oli that's definitely an original.
Be careful laundering, the ribbed bits have a tendency to disintegrate where they've been stitched on to the body/sleeves and the zip can also have issues.
Tommy, what size are you after in the LVC hot-rod jacket ? I may know someone that has a few still in stock.
