Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

You're right about the subjective nature of rise, I certainly have certain trousers that sit higher than the measurements would indicate.

I forgot to acknowledge in my last post that they are a sample as well. How many on here would want one of these? I'd say myself, Yuca, who else?

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

The stone colour of the prototype is very nice, but I would like one in a dark blue which is more practical for day to day wear.

I agree with Tommy that they are the best option for someone after a new sportcoat. I really like the way they present the jackets, I just wish I didn't they fit me.

Think I need to go on a burger binge. No 36R jackets available, unfortunately.

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

First post here, lurking for a while. I'm really intrigued by these coats, almost seem too good to be true, especially because I'm not as into used clothes and this price seems more than fair. Question: if you were to buy first tweed, is it crazy to go with a dark blue/navy over grey brown? I feel I look best in navy, and seems slightly more versatile than brown, but those other colors are so classic? Also, anyone in the states tried ordering from here? Last question - someone up thread mentioned they're more for tall people - anyone with experience care to elaborate on that?

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

Bit of a Bump for this one.

Not only are they great fellas but they've got a great range of Triple Patch Sack Jackets right now.

Seconded. I'm very, very tempted by a couple of jackets from the latest run, with only some uncharacteristic prudence about my bank balance holding me back from pulling the trigger.
